Sexting ( LA-R.S. 14:81.1.1)

     is the sending of sexually explicit photos, videos, or messages.  This is generally done through the use of a mobile phone but also refers to posting sexually explicit material online as well.

Cyberbullying (LA-R.S. 14:40.7)

     is the transmission of an electronic form of communication thorugh any electronic device with the intent to maliciously coerce, abuse, torment, or intimidate4s a person under the age of 18 either by adults or minors.

Cyberstalking (LA-R.S. 14:40.3)

     According to the law, Cyberstalking is recognized as repeated communication.  It does not matter whether or not a connversation ensues from the electronic mail or electronic communication but that the communication occurs repeatedly to the point that the receiver feels threatened or harassed.
