Deadbeat Dads arrested

    The St. John the Baptist Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office, in a joint effort, attempted to round up a total of 35 St. John Parish offenders who have active outstanding Child Support Warrants issued by the 40th Judicial District Court.

    The undercover operation took place over a 2 1/2 month time span and resulted in the arrest of 12 of the St. Johns Most Wanted Deadbeat Dads.

    Those arrested were:  Louis Anderson III, age 36 of Garyville;  Willis Anderson, age 36 of Laplace; Norris Belvin Jr, age 36 of Reserve; Craig Johnson, age 53 of Laplace; Frank Linares, age 30 of Laplace; Tyrone Lumar, age 58 of Edgard; L.J. McCoy age 39 of Paradis, Kenneth Robertson, age 28 of Garyville; Herbert Swetnam, age 52 of Laplace; Allen Snyder Jr., age 36 of Laplace; Davon Wells age 22 of Laplace; and Mauricio Ruiz, age 40 was spotted by the Texas Border Patrol as he was attempting to leave the Country.  Those arrested owe a combined total of over $140,000.00 in back child support.

    Warrants remain outstanding on:  Ken Antoine Bardell, David Allen Cole, Devaliant Cole, Russell Joseph Cooke, Trauhn Damone Johnson, Rodney Joseph, Willie Joseph, Gregory Mizell, David moore, Nathaniel Pembrook, Jermaine Perrilloux, Herman Perry, Jr., Roosevelt Preston Jr., Mack Arthur Small Jr., Calvin Stewart, David Wright and Bree Tamplain.
