HOW DO I REPORT A CRIME?

The fastest way to report a crime is to dial 911 and speak directly to a Sheriff's Deputy 911 Operator.  Please be prepared to identify yourself, the time and date of the crime and the nature of the crime.  To report a crime in person, go to the Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau and ask to speak to the Day Officer or the Detective on duty.

When reporting a crime, it is important to provide accurate information.  If you have any documentation to support the criminal allegations bring them with  you to the Sheriff's Office or make mention of them in  your telephone conversation.
