District Attorney Investigators are Sheriff Department commissioned officers with many years of law enforcement experience who are assigned to the District Attorney’s Office to assist in developing criminal cases for trial.  The mission of the District Attorney Investigator is to coordinate and facilitate communication and cooperation between the Sheriff’s Office, District Attorney’s Office, and others involved in the criminal court process.  These efforts promote better preparation and efficiency in the prosecution of felony and misdemeanor cases.
